Congratulations to Galina Motova

on being elected as President of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN)!

APQN is one of the largest international networks in quality assurance of higher education in the world. The network unites more than 200 members from 44 countries of the Asia-Pacific region where half of the planet lives.

This post is a deserved recognition of Galina Motova’s professionalism, outstanding work done over many years in the sphere of higher education quality evaluation and her extraordinary managerial qualities.

Galina is a head of the National Centre for Public Accreditation (NCPA) being a leader in the number of accredited programmes in Russia and abroad. She stood at the origins of the accreditation system in Russia; she has a 30-year work experience in the sphere quality evaluation. She was a member of the CEENET Steering Committee, member of the ENQA Academic Integrity Working Group, APQN Vice-President at different times of her career. Her experience of participating in various international conferences, symposiums and webinars as a keynote speaker, moderator and member of discussion expert groups will definitely be useful for her new position.

Galina Motova’s new position as APQN President will contribute to promoting Russian HEIs and study programmes on the international educational market.
