From October 13 to 15, 2026, the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba (RUDN University) underwent an international and public-professional accreditation procedure.

The external review panel comprised leading Russian and international experts, as well as representatives from the professional and student communities.

For three days, the panel evaluated the quality of the educational programs. During the site visit, the experts held a series of meetings with the university administration, heads of relevant departments, faculty, students, alumni of the respective programs, and employer representatives.

Based on the outcomes of the visit, the panel drafted a report and developed recommendations for the further enhancement of the programs. Following the detailed report prepared by the experts, the final decision on granting international and public-professional accreditation will be made at the upcoming meeting of the National Accreditation Board.
