On March 27, 2024 Galina Motova, President of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN), NCPA Director, and Erik Esentaev, Director of the Independent accreditation agency “Bilim-Standard”, held a seminar on international accreditation for the representatives of Kyrgyz HEIs at the premises of the Centre of Digital and Innovation Technologies of Kyrgyz National University named after J.Balasagyn.

Galina Motova presented the topic “International accreditation as a mechanism of external evaluation and recognition of education quality at a HEI: implementation practices, new challenges and trends”.

In her report she told about the accreditation practices in the world, main trends, differences between institutional, programme, system and cluster accreditation, regional accreditation networks, international quality assurance model, mechanisms, principles and stages of international accreditation, NCPA’s experience of joint accreditations, etc. She also replied to many questions from representatives of Kyrgyz HEIs.
